She brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources, having previously worked as director of people operations supporting veterinary clinics. Her career path also includes roles in professional development, coaching, and training with an audiology organization, as well as time building organizations through startup companies and her own business in the mortgage industry. Zehner holds an undergraduate degree in business management and a master's degree in psychology. She maintains her SHRM certification and is certified in DISC, and she is professionally affiliated with SHRM. Throughout her journey, she has focused on leadership development, mentoring HR professionals and emerging leaders while emphasizing fairness, empathy, and effective conflict resolution.
