About Tammy
My journey in the electrical industry began in 1997 under unexpected circumstances. I was in college playing Olympic softball when I broke the whole right side of my face, which resulted in my scholarship being canceled. I came back home and went straight into the field with my dad's electrical business. Since March of 2025, my brother and I have owned Guild Electric and Telecom together, and I run the electrical division as Vice President. Over my nearly 30 years in the industry, I've developed deep expertise in electrical work and lighting, earning my certification as a lighting consultant along with project management and HR certifications. I'm passionate about supporting other women in construction and serve as a Director at the National Association of Women in Construction. I'm also a member of Applied Professional Women of DFW and dedicate time to community work with the Boys and Girls Club and Scottish Rite Hospital.
