Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tammy

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would definitely say the support of my family. I mean, is that… Does that answer the question? I don't… I have, like, so many things, but first and foremost, it would be my family.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stay persistent. Show people what you're made of. And don't let anyone tell you you're not worthy. I work in a boys' club. Women really have to step up big time. Make bigger strides to prove themselves worthy. So I just stayed persistent and consistent.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include managing people and capacity, finding drivers, tariffs, port congestion, equipment availability, and the broken supply chain since COVID. Opportunities include partnering with other logistics companies to create synergy rather than viewing them as competition.
