Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to curiosity, courage, and connection. Curiosity keeps me learning and open to new ideas. It’s what’s allowed me to move across industries, take on global roles, and keep growing through every season of change.

Courage has been about stepping forward even when I wasn’t sure of the outcome — saying yes to opportunities that stretched me and trusting that growth lives on the other side of discomfort.

And connection is everything. My greatest success has come from working with incredible teams and leaders who care deeply about people and purpose. I’ve learned that when you create trust and truly listen, people rise higher than they thought they could.

At the end of the day, I think success comes from showing up as yourself, leading with heart, and choosing integrity even when it’s hard.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received was simple — be who you are, not who you think you need to be.

Early in my career I tried to fit every mold, speak every language, and show up how I thought a “leader” should. Over time I learned that authenticity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s your greatest strength. When you stop performing and start leading from who you truly are, people respond to that energy.

Another piece of advice that’s stayed with me is to stay curious and keep saying yes — especially to the things that scare you a little. Every big leap in my career came from a yes that felt slightly uncomfortable but completely aligned with my values.

That combination of authenticity and courage has shaped everything I’ve built

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The automotive and manufacturing world isn’t easy, especially for women. It can test your confidence and make you question if you belong. My advice is to stay true to yourself and keep showing up. You don’t have to know everything — you just have to keep learning, keep moving, and keep believing that you bring something valuable.

Confidence comes from doing the hard things even when you’re unsure. You’ll have moments of doubt or fear, but don’t let them stop you. Push through, keep going, and trust that every challenge is shaping your strength.

Don’t wait for someone to tell you you’re ready. Take the opportunity, raise your hand, use your voice. You deserve to be there. And when you move forward in spite of fear, you make it a little easier for the next woman to do the same.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge and opportunity right now is staying human in a world that’s moving fast. With AI and technology changing everything, it’s easy to lose the connection that really drives people and teams.

We’re doing amazing things with automation and data, but it can’t replace empathy, trust, or the power of real relationships. The future of leadership has to be about both — using technology to help us, but never letting it take the place of people.

The opportunity is to invest more deeply in human-centered leadership — helping people build strong communication, emotional intelligence, and connection skills. That’s what drives lasting behavior change and creates cultures where people actually want to show up and do their best work.

AI will keep evolving, but the leaders who thrive will be the ones who never lose their humanity.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Balance, gratitude, and growth are everything to me. I’ve learned that success doesn’t come from running on empty, it comes from creating space for what truly matters. Being a mom has taught me how to stay grounded, flexible, and present, and having a partner who shares that same mindset reminds me what it means to show up for each other and for the people who count.

I value lifelong learning, creativity, and always finding new ways to grow. Whether it’s investing in my career, exploring my art, or focusing on my own wellbeing, I believe in doing the work to keep getting better and giving myself grace when things don’t go perfectly.

I try to model resilience, strength, and joy for my kids and the people I lead. Work should be meaningful, but life should be creative and fun too. Making time for the people and experiences that fill me up keeps me centered and grateful. That balance is what allows me to keep showing up as my best self — at work and at home.
