Her Story

About Tammy

Tammy Crotsley is a Fleet and Logistics Manager in the pest control industry, bringing extensive operational experience to the management of a large vehicle fleet. At American Pest, she oversees nearly 400 vehicles operating across Maryland, Washington, D.C., Springfield and Richmond, Virginia, and Virginia Beach. In her current role, she coordinates fleet and logistics operations and travels monthly to Virginia branches to work with technicians and branch managers, supporting the effective management of fleet resources across multiple locations. Tammy’s professional career reflects a diverse operational background. Before transitioning into the pest control industry, she spent approximately 20 years in property management. She subsequently built her experience within the pest control sector, beginning in collections before moving into the fleet department. After a six-year absence, she returned to the organization and briefly worked in finance before advancing into fleet management and ultimately assuming responsibility for fleet and logistics operations. Her experience across collections, finance, fleet management, and operations has given her a broad understanding of the practical and administrative demands involved in managing a large-scale fleet. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Crotsley is affiliated with the National Association for Fleet Administrators (NAFA) and participates in the American Pest Safety Crew. Her current work involves navigating the operational challenges associated with maintaining an aging fleet, particularly vehicles for which replacement parts can be difficult to obtain. Whether determining when to repair an older vehicle or when replacement is the more practical option, Crotsley’s role centers on maintaining reliable transportation and supporting the technicians and branches that depend on the fleet.
