Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the incredible mentors I’ve had throughout my journey and the unique experiences that shaped me—from growing up on Guam and performing on Star Search, to becoming a lead dancer and dance captain for The Lion King Show with Walt Disney and then Assistant Casting Director in Honolulu, HI for Walt Disney World . My transition from the stage to roles in casino marketing, photo marketing, and now as Vice President at RockForce has been fueled by a strong work ethic, creativity, and a deep love for connecting with people. Each chapter, from assisting casting in Hawaii to leading client relations today, has taught me the value of resilience, relationships, and staying true to who I am.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be yourself. Embracing my authenticity has opened more doors than trying to fit into a mold. Also, being a mom has deeply enhanced both my career and life—it’s taught me patience, empathy, balance, and the importance of showing up fully, both personally and professionally.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: work hard and stay consistent. Show up, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to take up space. Your dedication, authenticity, and willingness to learn will set you apart.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are my family and my passion for the arts and creativity in life. In my work, I prioritize truly understanding my clients on a human level, ensuring their needs are met with personalized customization, care and attention. Outside of work, I enjoy expanding my perspective by traveling and reading magazines like Vogue and National Geographic, which inspire me both personally and professionally.
