About Tammy
Tammy Johnston is a content creator and social media specialist focused on empowering small businesses, minorities, and local creators. She began this work around 2013-2014 after reaching out to promote an artist from Belgium on Facebook and LinkedIn, and she continues to promote mom-and-pop businesses, nonprofits, and community efforts to help them grow and make people smile. Her educational background includes studies in technical writing communication, followed by post-graduate work in public and personal communications along with mass communications covering radio and TV. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in retail at Tommy Hilfiger in 1996-1997 where she handled customer promotions, worked in technical documentation for municipalities while also managing email marketing and social media, and served as a ghostwriter for her son's three books. As a single mom, she balanced multiple jobs over eleven years and emphasizes finding one's niche, pursuing passion, continuous learning, and supporting other creators.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Wherever you live find your category that you want to be a part of style maybe it's a particular region of the country find your niche and go towards that passion. Get into it and just kind of see where your passion is for you. Always be learning always be following other creators support other people.
