Her Story
About Tammy
I started out as a real estate appraiser in a very male-dominated time. I would be in a room of 500 people, and there'd be 2 women. As I was going to meet real estate agents, I realized how much more money they were making than I was and didn't really have as much knowledge as I had been trained for. So I shifted and became a real estate agent at the same time as still owning an appraisal company for all of those years as well. I still have an appraisal company as well as a brokerage. There's so many more other companies - I just like to start companies, put it that way. My main area of expertise today is probably coaching and teaching people personality-driven sales and personality-driven communication. A typical day for me includes coaching sessions, training workshops like AI workshops, coaching agents, and planning out marketing plans for one of my companies. My most notable professional achievement is being one of the top 100 real estate companies nationwide. I'm in Gary Keller's mastermind for being in the top 100, and I've remained there since I took the role as operating principal.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to persistence and being willing to do what other people aren't willing to do. Those are the two main things that have driven my achievements.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to ask for what you want. People generally want to say yes, and so if you don't ask, you'll never know what's possible.
