Tammy Rochester is a dedicated culinary professional with over a decade of hands-on experience in both educational and commercial kitchen settings. Currently serving as the Café Manager at Nash Community College and Executive Chef at Northgreen Country Club in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Tammy brings creativity, leadership, and a deep passion for food to every role she takes on. Her work at Nash not only involves managing kitchen operations but also mentoring and inspiring the next generation of culinary students. Her career reflects a seamless blend of education and practice, helping to elevate the local food scene while supporting student success.
Tammy’s path into the culinary world began at Nash Community College, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in Culinary Arts and actively participated in student organizations such as the Culinary Club, Phi Theta Kappa, and Gamma Beta Phi. She also holds experience in corporate wellness from her time as a Corporate Account Manager Assistant at Weight Watchers, where she developed strengths in nutrition and wellness coaching. With a focus on quality, service, and community, Tammy continues to be a driving force in both the professional kitchen and the classroom, empowering others through her love for food and education.
