Her Story
About Tamra
Tamra Parrott is a customer service professional based in the Midland–Odessa Area in Texas, with a long background in people-focused work across several industries. After graduating high school in 1985, she explored different paths including some college coursework and cosmetology school training, eventually finding that her strengths were best suited to hands-on, customer-facing roles. Over the years, she built experience in service environments such as waiting tables and running her own small business, developing strong communication skills and a practical, real-world approach to problem-solving.
She currently works in accommodations support with Peak Rentals, where she manages field site operations related to rig and completion camps. Her role involves visiting multiple job sites, checking trailers and accommodations, and ensuring everything is properly stocked, functional, and ready for crews working in the field. She also maintains client relationships and supports accounts connected to major energy companies including ExxonMobil and Chevron, helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations across active drilling and completions sites.
Outside of work, Tamra is deeply involved in animal rescue and care, particularly with high-energy and working breeds. She currently cares for several rescue dogs, including German Shepherds and a Belgian Malinois, and is experienced in rehabilitating and managing multi-dog households. Her personal outlook is shaped by resilience and persistence, including returning to full work duties after a serious foot injury, and she values creating positive experiences for others through both her professional role and personal life.
