Tamra Toney Pfeifer is the creative force behind Set the Stage Interiors, a boutique home staging and design firm based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Born and raised in Texas, Tamra’s lifelong passion for decorating and helping others naturally led her into the world of interior design and staging. After a life-altering event in 2009, she decided to turn her passion into purpose, earning certifications in home staging, redesign, and interior design, and launching her business shortly afterward.
Over the years, Tamra has built a reputation for excellence and has teamed with realtors to help clients showcase their homes in the best light, ultimately getting properties sold faster and often at a higher value. Her dedication to quality and her keen eye for cosmetic detail have earned her several accolades, including multiple “Best of the Best” awards for vacant home staging work. She has also been named among the Top 50 Experts in the home staging industry for 2023, 2024, and 2025—recognitions she views as tremendous honors and powerful affirmation of her commitment to her craft.
Beyond her professional life, Tamra treasures her role as a wife and mother of three. She enjoys spending time with her family, vacationing, baking, singing in her church choir, being outdoors, and caring for her two dogs. Tamra also runs a small cosmetics and skincare business, further reflecting her passion for beauty and transformation. Grateful for the blessings in her life, she credits her faith as a guiding force and remains deeply committed to growing her business while enriching the lives of her clients and community.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to having the courage to pursue my dream of working in interior design. Taking that first step was both exciting and challenging, but it opened the door to discovering my true passion for staging and design. By following my heart and trusting my instincts, I was able to turn that passion into a fulfilling career where I help others create spaces that feel beautiful, welcoming, and truly their own.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are passion, flexibility, and attentiveness. I truly love what I do and take great pride in the impact my work has on the sale of a home—seeing how thoughtful design and staging can transform a space and help clients achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. Being flexible allows me to adapt to each client’s unique needs and vision, while being attentive ensures that every detail is handled with care and precision. These values guide me in creating meaningful, successful results in everything I do.
