Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tanee
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was from my mentor who owned her own business and radio station. She allowed me to study under her and learn the business from top to bottom. She emphasized knowing business, and as I navigated my career I learned to be confident in what I know because I have worked hard, invested in it, learned it, and become an expert.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know what you know. If you have prepared yourself and invested the time, you know what you know. Do not let anybody shake that from you. Be open to other ways of thinking but confident in your expertise. Help each other because rising waters lift all boats.
