Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tanesha

01What do you attribute your success to?

A lot to my faith. I feel like a lot of the things that I've been through in my journey. My faith has really been the thing that keeps me going or gives me strength when things are hard, and definitely my friends. Your community is so important, your personal village is so important.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The biggest thing is just keep going, regardless of what hurdles you encounter. Whatever goals you set for yourself, stay determined, stay motivated. It's okay to start over or reinvent yourself as many times as you want to. It's okay to make mistakes, but just keep going. Find things that you enjoy, that you love. Don't forget about you. Take care of yourself.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Stay true to yourself. Don't allow people or situations to change who you are. Be kind, be friendly to others. You never know what one person is going through or how their day is going, so always like to give a good morning, good afternoon.
