Tangela Dent

I am a practice coordinator at West Boca Medical Center, where I help patients with their appointments, scheduling surgeries, and other needs. I've been doing medical work for about 40 years now, and it's very inspiring and inspirational to me. My main area of expertise is customer service. What I'm most proud of in my career is helping people and going beyond my call of duty because they need my help, so I go beyond what I need to do to help them. I actually started out wanting to be a policeman, but that didn't work out. I shot the gun one time and I was like, no, I can't do that. I prefer helping people and negotiations, helping people that need my help. In addition to my work at the medical center, I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and I still work in that part-time. I've received awards at work for being an outstanding employee. My goal for the future is to be a business owner and I'm in the midst of trying to get everything together for that.
