Tania Roa

Tania Roa has spent six years working in climate and environmental solutions. She currently researches campaigns and issues needing support, creates content, and works to inspire people to take action both within her organization and on a personal level. Tania earned her Master's of Science in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University and her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona. Her notable professional achievement includes delivering a TED Talk, which she manifested earlier than expected. She has received multiple scholarships and grants during her undergraduate studies, including two from Cal Poly Pomona, one from Kaba Delta, and a scholarship to attend a conference. Tania is a Rising Leaders Fellow alumnus with Justice Outside and recently completed a fellowship with Be Visioneers, the Mercedes-Benz fellowship. She also volunteers with Explore Austin, mentoring low-income youth by providing gear and outdoor opportunities, including serving as a backpacking trip mentor.
