Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance and a relentless drive to make things happen. One of my guiding principles is, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” No matter the obstacles, I focus on finding a path forward and staying committed to my goals. I believe in keeping the end goal in sight and pursuing it with determination—because even if you aim for the sky, you still land among the stars. Throughout my career, this mindset of resilience and resourcefulness has been central to achieving the results I set out to accomplish.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to lead with empathy—understand your customers and colleagues, and put yourself in their shoes to provide meaningful service. Equally important is integrity: be ethical, trustworthy, reliable, and accountable in everything you do. These values will guide your growth and earn the trust of those around you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the emotional demand of caring for oxygen-dependent patients, coupled with navigating the constraints and timelines inherent in government contracting. At the same time, there is a significant opportunity to enhance the patient experience by focusing on the aspects we can control and going beyond the basic contractual requirements to provide meaningful support.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are ethics, trustworthiness, and reliability. I place a high value on empathy—being able to put myself in others’ shoes helps me respond with kindness, openness, and attentiveness to their needs. I also believe deeply in accountability and integrity: always doing the right thing, regardless of who is watching, and taking responsibility for my actions. Above all, I strive to value others and treat everyone with the respect and empathy they deserve.
