Ten minutes with Tanvi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to following my passion, not being afraid to try something new, experimenting, and making my own opportunities even when it feels like there's no space for innovation. In design, I encourage going for what you're passionate about and making a job out of it, as that's where innovation and excitement come from.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women to experiment with what feels passionate to them, follow what feels exciting, and seek out opportunities to volunteer design projects for social change and social causes, like through organizations such as US design. This allows room for innovation that opens up exciting possibilities.
