About Tanyika
Tanyika Mayhew Butler is a strategist, keynote speaker, trainer, author, and CEO of KendallASC with nearly three decades of experience in education, counseling, leadership, and advocacy. She began her career as a biology teacher before transitioning into school counseling, where she spent more than 20 years with Cobb County School District. Throughout her career, Tanyika developed expertise in professional development, leadership, behavior patterns, and supporting students and families. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Science in Counselor Education and School Counseling from Clark Atlanta University.
Today, Tanyika focuses on helping leaders and organizations understand the deeper causes of workplace exhaustion, retain high-performing talent, and create sustainable approaches to success. Through KendallASC, she provides corporate training, leadership development, public speaking, educational consulting, team building, and change management. Her work draws on her experiences as an educator, counselor, advocate, and parent, including expertise in autism and behavior. She encourages leaders to look beyond simply labeling exhaustion as burnout and instead examine the underlying patterns, responsibilities, and workplace conditions contributing to it.
Tanyika is also the author of No More UGLY Wins™, which challenges high achievers and organizations to recognize when success has become too costly to sustain. Through concepts such as the Repeatable Loop™, Basketball in the Boardroom™, the Burden Bag™, and Ginger Ale & Crackers™, she helps leaders identify the patterns behind exhaustion and make practical changes before they lead to disengagement, turnover, or extended leave. As a speaker and trainer, Tanyika combines decades of professional experience with personal insight to promote human-centered leadership and sustainable high performance.
