About Tara
Tara Krivoshein serves as a Territory Sales Manager in the supplements and wellness industry, where she represents a company that stands out as the only organic, 100% organic farm producing supplements made entirely from whole foods. Her passion for the field stems from personal health challenges and those faced by her mother, who navigated numerous doctors before finding answers through self-advocacy and research, an experience Tara later encountered herself in college. She credits her success to her family, who have poured into her, along with amazing mentors placed in her path at key times, including a high school softball coach and ASB advisor who taught her the importance of earning respect through hard work and responsibility. Tara's core values include her family, friends, and faith, along with a commitment to honesty, dedication, and believing deeply in her work so that she can sleep well at night. In her role, she sees significant opportunities in educating both practitioners and patients who are increasingly taking responsibility for their health and asking informed questions. As a woman in sales, she navigates the challenge of balancing expertise and knowledge with approachability while maintaining strong boundaries aligned with her morals and values.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tara
01What do you attribute your success to?
My family has poured into me and I've had amazing mentors my whole life. God has put the most amazing people throughout the path of my life at the right times. Without them I wouldn't be at the professional or personal spot that I am in my life so I have to attribute that to other people not myself.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to stick up for yourself and definitely have boundaries and lines that you've drawn in the sand before you go into an office. If your gut is telling you this isn't okay and it goes against your morals and your values stick with that and it will reward you in the future.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunities in supplements and wellness is people are finally taking responsibility and wanting to advocate for themselves and realizing they can ask their doctor questions and do their own research. That's a huge opportunity in the wellness space of not only educating practitioners but also patients want to know. One challenge as a woman in sales is people think they can take advantage of you and you have to balance being an expert with knowledge while also being nice and persuading people.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I'm a really passionate person so I have to believe in what I'm doing. My core values are my family and my friends and my faith. In work and personal life hard work is really important to me honesty and dedication which kind of comes back to that passionate and really believing what you're doing. You gotta be able to sleep at night.
