About TarNeisha
I have been in my field for almost 6 years, working as a certified life and mental health coach with my own business. I've been in the doula world for 2 years, and I recently transitioned into another role concerning maternal health where I work for TCU School of Medicine. In this role, we work with different OBGYNs and hospitals, giving away free iron to pregnant women to help reduce the transfusion rate. Every day in my role, I get up and ask God to use me as a vessel, because what I realized for me is that what brings purpose, what brings passion, what brings any motivation, is being a solution to any problem. I'm a nurturer at heart and definitely a people's person. I never meet a stranger, and I'm always willing to help or see how I can help in any way. Networking is my thing, and I say I never meet a stranger because sometimes I don't meet people for me, it's meeting people for others too, to make the connection. My most notable professional achievement is being an overcomer. Even though I am a mental health coach, I deal with mental health issues myself, like I have bipolar depression, and at times that's an illness that would try to shut you down or make you feel inadequate or less than. But knowing that I've overcome it, and I'm still here in spite of it, my pain is burning my purpose.
