Her Interview

Ten minutes with Tasha

01What do you attribute your success to?

My parents, especially my mom who has supported me from day one and my dad who encouraged me to pursue what I wanted. They provided love, support, and nurturing no matter how crazy my ideas seemed.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be afraid to pivot because life takes us on detours. Don't be afraid to fail because failure is a part of our growth. Know that everything you're doing now is going to mean something later, like it's going to be a full circle moment for you.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is keeping the human connection at the center of everything I do. Whether I’m working in community management or pursuing my passion as an author, people expect more access, transparency, responsiveness, and authenticity than ever before. Technology can make us more efficient and give us greater reach, but relationships, creativity, trust, and genuine connection are still what make the greatest impact.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, authenticity, compassion, and purpose are at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m leading, creating, or simply navigating life, I believe in treating people with respect, staying true to who I am, and leaving every space, and every person I encounter a little better than I found them.
