About Tasha
I am a licensed Dental Hygienist with more than 15 years of experience in family and pediatric dentistry, and I am passionate about preventive care, patient education, and mentoring future dental professionals.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve as Part-Time Dental Hygiene Faculty at Shoreline Community College, where I support and educate aspiring hygienists in both technical skill development and patient-centered care. Teaching allows me to share real-world experience while helping students build confidence and clinical excellence.
My background includes restorative pediatric dental hygiene, where I specialized in calming anxious children, providing comprehensive oral assessments, radiographs, preventive treatments, and assisting in restorative procedures. Prior to that, I spent over 14 years in family practice dentistry, building long-term patient relationships and promoting lifelong oral health.
Outside of dentistry, I am a yoga instructor at Hot Yoga Inc, where I integrate mindfulness, breathwork, and body awareness into my teaching. This foundation enhances my ability to create a calm, supportive environment for both patients and students.
I am committed to lifelong learning, staying current with advancements in dentistry, and fostering a compassionate, education-driven approach to oral healthcare.
