Tasha Nikl

Tasha Nikl serves as the Middle School Assistant Principal in Midlothian, Texas. With 11 years of experience in education, she began her career after her son was diagnosed with dyslexia, prompting her to pursue a degree in early childhood education from Kaplan University to better support his educational path. She taught various grade levels from pre-K through 6th grade before moving into administration to make a broader impact on the entire campus, where she has served for 9 years. Nikl holds a master's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her notable achievements include being named the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year for Texas, Region 11 Assistant Principal of the Year, and State of Texas Assistant Principal of the Year. She has also been recognized as Support Staff of the Year on her campus three times. Nikl is a member of TASSP, the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, and NASSP, the National Association of Secondary School Principals. In addition to her professional duties, she runs a monthly food bank on campus in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank.
