About Tatiana
My professional journey began in 2015, when I entered the insurance industry in a customer service role. Over the years, I worked my way through different positions, gaining experience in sales, operations, leadership, and business management. Each opportunity brought new lessons that helped shape the professional and entrepreneur I am today.
My journey has not always been easy. I have encountered people who believed in my potential and generously shared their knowledge, encouragement, and support. I have also faced challenges, criticism, and moments when others doubted my abilities. Through it all, I learned that every experience offers an opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, and more determined.
Today, I am proud to serve as President of Flores Guevara Agency Corp, where my team and I help families and business owners protect what matters most. Beyond insurance, we provide tax preparation, bookkeeping, notary, and business formation services, with a special commitment to serving our bilingual community.
My faith and family are at the center of everything I do. As a mother, wife, and business owner, I understand the importance of balancing responsibilities while continuing to pursue personal and professional goals.
Community service also holds a special place in my heart. Supporting organizations such as Banco de Tapitas and participating in local initiatives remind me that success carries a responsibility to give back.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that leadership is not about having all the answers. It is about remaining willing to learn, having the courage to overcome challenges, and creating opportunities for others.
I want my children, my team, and other women pursuing their dreams to know that where you begin does not determine how far you can go.
I believe God has a purpose for every chapter of our lives. Some chapters bring blessings, others bring difficult lessons, but each one helps prepare us for what comes next.
My goal is not simply to build a successful business, but to build a legacy of faith, integrity, compassion, and opportunity.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to my faith in God, whom I consider my most important business partner. I believe that when we put Him at the center of our decisions, trust His timing, and work with integrity, He guides us toward opportunities we may never have imagined.
My children are also one of my greatest motivations. I want to lead by example and show them that success is not about having an easy journey, but about having the courage to keep going, even when things become difficult.
Throughout my career, I have experienced both support and disappointment. I have met incredible people who believed in me, shared their knowledge, and encouraged me to grow. I have also faced challenges that tested my strength and determination. Every experience has taught me something valuable.
I believe that hard work, perseverance, humility, and a genuine love for what I do have played an essential role in my journey.
For me, success is not simply measured by how much my business grows, but by the families I help, the trust I earn, the opportunities I create for others, and the example I leave for my children.
I do my part through hard work and dedication, and I trust God to guide my steps.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received is to find something you truly love doing, because when you are passionate about your work, it becomes more than just a job. It becomes part of your purpose.
However, over the years, I have also learned that passion alone is not enough. Success requires discipline, consistency, patience, and the willingness to keep learning, even when the journey becomes challenging.
I have been fortunate to learn from many people throughout my career. Some taught me through their encouragement and generosity, while others taught me through difficult experiences.
Those lessons have reminded me to remain humble, never stop learning, and always treat people with respect, regardless of how they treat me.
Love what you do, never compromise your values, and remember that your reputation is one of the most valuable things you will ever build.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the insurance industry is to always lead with integrity, never stop learning, and never underestimate their potential.
Insurance is not simply about selling policies. It is about protecting families, businesses, and everything people have worked so hard to build. Take the time to educate your clients, explain their coverage clearly, and help them understand not only what they are purchasing, but why it matters.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned throughout my career is the importance of documenting everything, communicating clearly, and never allowing difficult interactions to become personal. Not every client will understand your recommendations, and not everyone you encounter will support your growth. Stay professional, remain patient, and let your work speak for itself.
Read, study, ask questions, and surround yourself with people who inspire you to become better. Find mentors who are willing to share their knowledge, but also learn to trust your own judgment.
Most importantly, never compromise your values to achieve success. Your reputation, honesty, and the trust you build with others will always be among your greatest professional assets.
To every young woman beginning her career: Do not be afraid to take up space, ask questions, or dream bigger than your current circumstances. You belong in every room you have worked hard to enter, and one day, you may be the woman who opens that door for someone else.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I see in the insurance industry today is the uncertainty many families and small business owners are experiencing, particularly within immigrant and Hispanic communities.
In my experience, concerns surrounding immigration, financial stability, and the future have caused some individuals to reconsider or even cancel their insurance coverage. It is heartbreaking to see families who have worked so hard to build a life and achieve financial security feel uncertain about how to protect what they have earned.
At the same time, the insurance industry continues to face challenges involving rising premiums, affordability, and the need for greater consumer education.
However, I believe that every challenge also creates an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
As an insurance professional serving a diverse community, I see a tremendous opportunity to build trust through education, transparency, and compassion. Many clients need more than an insurance quote. They need someone who will listen, explain their options in a language they understand, and help them make informed decisions without pressure or judgment.
I believe the future of our industry belongs to professionals who understand that insurance is ultimately about people, not just policies.
My greatest opportunity is to continue being a trusted voice for families who need guidance, reassurance, and someone who genuinely cares about protecting their future.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide both my professional and personal life are faith, loyalty, honesty, integrity, and compassion.
My faith in God is the foundation of everything I do. I consider Him my most important business partner, and I strive to place Him at the center of my decisions. I believe that success means very little if we lose our values along the way.
Loyalty and honesty are equally important to me. I believe in keeping my word, treating people with respect, and doing what is right, even when no one is watching. In business, trust is something that takes years to build and only moments to lose. That is why I work hard to maintain transparency and integrity in every relationship.
Compassion is another value I hold close to my heart. Over the years, I have learned that we never truly know what someone else is going through. Sometimes, the person who seems angry, impatient, or difficult is simply carrying a burden we cannot see. Instead of responding with frustration, I try to lead with understanding, patience, and kindness.
I also believe in forgiveness, humility, and the importance of learning from every experience. Not everyone who enters our lives will treat us fairly, but we always have a choice in how we respond. I choose to protect my peace, remain true to my principles, and continue moving forward.
Above all, my family reminds me why these values matter. I want my children to understand that success is not only about what we accomplish, but also about how we treat others and the example we leave behind.
I want to be remembered not only for the business I built, but for the integrity I maintained, the people I helped, and the kindness I showed along the way.
