Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success first and foremost to God, who has guided every step of my journey. I also feel incredibly grateful for the inspiring mentors who believed in me, challenged me, and helped shape the leader I’ve become — and for the unwavering support of my family, who have always encouraged me, lifted me, and pushed me to keep moving forward.

Coming from a third-world country like Brazil and paving my way into leadership in the United States has been both humbling and empowering. With nearly two decades of experience in sales — and the last several years leading a high-performing team in the technology and cybersecurity sector — I’ve learned that faith, hard work, resilience, gratitude, mentorship, and family support are the true keys to growth.

My story is a testament that with God’s guidance, the right people around you, and an unwavering will to keep pushing forward, anything is possible.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve ever received came from a great mentor of mine, who used to say, “Keep your side of the street clean.”

That phrase has stayed with me throughout my entire career. To me, it means focusing on what you can control, taking full ownership of your actions, and always striving for excellence in the areas within your reach. You can’t control every outcome, but you can control your effort, your integrity, and your attitude.

So I’ve learned to make sure my side of the street is always in pristine condition—to do my best, stay consistent, and let the results speak for themselves.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never give up—even if you have to crawl, just keep moving. Rest if you need to, but don’t let anything defeat you. Tomorrow is a new day, with new opportunities waiting for you.

Have faith. Things may not always happen the way you planned, but God is in control, and He will make things unfold exactly as they should. Trust His timing—and do your part, always.

Remember, clarity of purpose without procrastination leads to manifestation. Don’t wait for perfection—take action. Believe in yourself, stay consistent, and keep showing up… even before you feel ready. Sometimes you just have to “fake it until you make it.”

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The challenges in this industry are constantly evolving—especially as cyberthreats become more sophisticated. Businesses, particularly Managed Service Providers (MSPs), can no longer rely on basic antivirus tools; they need adaptive, multilayered protection and continuous education to stay secure.

We’re also facing a growing shortage of qualified professionals, which makes talent development, mentorship, and collaboration more critical than ever.

At the same time, the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping cybersecurity—empowering us to detect, predict, and prevent attacks faster, while also introducing more advanced threats. The greatest opportunity lies in embracing AI responsibly, building skilled teams, and staying committed to protecting data and driving innovation.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

At the heart of everything I do are my faith in God and my family. My two kids mean the world to me, and I’m forever grateful for my mom, who lives with us and represents strength, love, and resilience in my life.

In both work and personal life, I value versatility, creativity, and thinking outside the box just as much as achieving results. For me, success is not only about reaching business goals—it’s about inspiring others to pursue their dreams with focus and integrity.

If my journey can encourage even one person to keep pushing forward, then it’s all worth it. I am constantly learning, growing, and striving to become better—because I believe if I can do it, anyone can.
