What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to feeling very lucky and filled with gratitude for my journey. Coming from a third-world country like Brazil and paving my way into leadership has been both humbling and motivating. With nearly two decades of experience in sales, and the last several years dedicated to leading high-performing teams in the technology and cybersecurity sector, I have learned that hard work, resilience, and gratitude are key to growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The best advice I give to young women entering the industry is that you can go after your dreams with hard work, and it will open opportunities—just go for it. Clarity with purpose is so important. By having clarity and alignment, you put into action what you want, and that’s when doors begin to open.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenges in this industry are constantly evolving, particularly with the growing complexity of threats and the need for businesses—especially MSPs (Managed Service Providers)—to move beyond basic antivirus tools. I’ve also seen increasing mergers within the MSP space, which makes client education even more important to closing persistent security gaps. Our mission is always to educate, and it’s disheartening to see so many companies fail to protect their data, which is so essential.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Beyond my corporate achievements, I deeply value gratitude and giving back. I contribute regularly to church programs and medical causes, including cancer treatment institutions. For me, versatility, creativity, and thinking outside the box are as important as achieving business goals. It’s about inspiring others to chase their goals with focus and integrity. If my story can help someone push forward, then it’s all worth it. I’m constantly growing, learning, and hoping that my recognition serves as a source of encouragement for others.
