About Tatynia

Tatynia Jordan is a yoga instructor, wellness entrepreneur, and health and fitness marketing professional with more than 10 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, marketing, and community engagement. She is the founder of Soul Healing, a wellness initiative that offers outdoor yoga experiences centered on breathwork, mindfulness, grounding, and nervous system regulation. Through her classes, Tatynia helps clients reduce stress, reconnect with themselves, and create greater mental and emotional clarity.

In addition to developing and leading her own yoga sessions, Tatynia manages scheduling, social media content, advertising, community outreach, and event planning for Soul Healing. She is passionate about creating meaningful wellness experiences, including women’s empowerment events and programs designed to support personal growth, confidence, and healing.

Tatynia’s professional background is diverse. She spent several years working as a certified dental assistant in an office setting, where she developed strong organizational, communication, and client-care skills. Her early experience in a call center, beginning at age 18, helped shape her understanding of marketing, communication, and customer engagement. She has also worked in the hospitality industry, further strengthening her ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and provide high-quality service.

Her commitment to community involvement extends beyond her business. Tatynia participates in the PAL program, where she leads yoga groups for youth, and volunteers at her son’s elementary school by assisting with events and school activities.

Tatynia describes her career transition as an act of faith. After stepping outside of her comfort zone and taking a solo vacation, she gained greater clarity about her purpose and realized how deeply she wanted to help others through wellness, encouragement, and personal development. That experience inspired her to continue building a career that reflects her own journey of growth, faith, and authenticity.

At the core of Tatynia’s work are integrity, honesty, compassion, and a commitment to giving her best in every situation. She believes professionalism requires emotional discipline, perspective, and a “mind over matter” approach—learning how to separate personal emotions from professional responsibilities while remaining respectful, dependable, and solution-focused.

Ten minutes with Tatynia

01What do you attribute your success to?

“I attribute my success to stepping out on faith and staying true to myself and my journey. Faith has been one of my greatest motivators, especially during times when I had to trust the process without knowing exactly where it would lead. Taking my first solo vacation gave me the opportunity to spend intentional time with myself, reflect, and gain clarity about what I truly enjoy and what I feel called to do. Through that experience, I realized that helping, encouraging, and pouring into others is a major part of my purpose. Since then, I’ve continued to follow that calling, remain authentic, and trust that each step is leading me where I’m supposed to be.”

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

“Learn how to separate your emotions from professional situations. That doesn’t mean ignoring how you feel—it means responding with clarity, maturity, and intention. I’ve learned that sometimes you have to practice mind over matter, stay focused on the bigger picture, and make decisions based on what will move you forward rather than reacting in the moment.”

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

“I would tell young women to keep going and give it everything they have. Don’t allow fear, setbacks, opinions, or obstacles to pull you away from what you know in your heart you’re called to do. When God places a purpose or mission on your life, see it through. There will be challenges, there will be moments of doubt, and there may be times when the path feels unclear, but remain consistent, stay true to yourself, and keep moving forward. Your journey does not have to look like anyone else’s to be meaningful or successful.”

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

“One of the biggest challenges in the wellness industry is consistency—encouraging people to not only show up for a class, but to make their physical, mental, and emotional well-being a regular priority. Many people know they need time to slow down and care for themselves, but busy schedules and everyday responsibilities can make that difficult. At the same time, I see a major opportunity because more people are becoming intentional about stress management, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and preventative wellness. That creates space for instructors like me to make wellness feel accessible, welcoming, and realistic for everyday people.”

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

“Integrity and honesty are two of the most important values I carry with me in both my personal life and my work. I believe in showing up as my authentic self, treating people with respect, and doing what I say I’m going to do. I also value service—being as helpful as I can and giving my best, no matter the situation or role I’m in. Whether I’m teaching yoga, working with clients, supporting my community, or simply showing up for the people in my life, I want my actions to reflect compassion, consistency, and genuine care.”
