She is a distinguished public sector leader with over 25 years of experience in government auditing, oversight, and program management across federal and state agencies. Currently serving as Director at the Maryland Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services, she leads strategic initiatives and operational oversight for the department. Prior to this role, she served as Deputy Assistant Inspector General for Audit at the U.S. Department of Labor, where she provided leadership and oversight for audit operations. Her career includes over 18 years as Director at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, as well as auditor roles at the HHS Office of Inspector General and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Morgan State University and a Master of Arts from Towson University. She is recognized as a strategic, results-driven, and mission-focused leader who has dedicated her career to ensuring accountability, integrity, and efficiency in government operations and public service.
