01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The only way to eat an elephant is to take one bite at a time. Whenever you're up against something that seems overwhelming, handle it by taking one bite at a time. Focus on preparing with the knowledge needed and not rushing things outside of my control.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Prepare yourself. There's nothing worse than showing up unprepared. Prepare yourself for the subject matter, the task, and mentally. Do your homework and make sure you're studied up.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I don't see things as challenges. Challenges are learning experiences. I get scientific about learning what I need to know to approach any challenge in the right way. Opportunities present themselves and if qualified I get it, or I'm exposed to it.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is very important to me. I'm big on being a woman of my word and expect that of others. Confidence in yourself and being a positive-minded person. Stay positive.
