Taylor Huggins
Taylor Huggins is the Founder and Executive Coordinator of Aurora Legacy Notary Group’s International Document Coordination Division, based in Conway, South Carolina. She started her notary business in 2024 to create more flexibility as a mother and spend more time with her baby. As the owner, Taylor manages every aspect of her business, from marketing and payroll to scheduling and rescheduling appointments, ensuring that every client receives personalized, professional service. Her mobile notary services cover a wide range of needs, including hospital and jail visits, vehicle notarizations, school documents, international documents, loan signings, and even wedding ceremonies.
Taylor is committed to precision and reliability, providing structured international document services such as apostille authentication, embassy legalization, federal authentication, certified translation coordination, and secure courier management. Her division supports immigration filings, dual citizenship applications, probate matters involving foreign jurisdictions, and cross-border business transactions. A typical day for Taylor includes multiple loan signings and notarizations, reflecting her dedication to efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction. Her most notable professional achievement was completing her first refinance loan signing shortly after becoming a loan signing agent, which propelled her business forward.
In addition to running Aurora Legacy, Taylor works full-time as an assistant store manager for Dollar General and has nearly a decade of experience in healthcare and retail, including serving as a personal care assistant (PCA). She holds an Associate of Science in Medical Insurance Specialist/Medical Biller from Ultimate Medical Academy, providing her a strong foundation in administrative precision and client care. Looking ahead, Taylor aims to expand her business with a physical office location to serve more clients while maintaining the flexibility and personal touch that define her services.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being proactive and putting myself out there in every way possible. I’ve made sure to be visible across multiple platforms whether on Google, Nextdoor, Yelp, or professional directories like the notary list so that people can find and connect with me. By consistently marketing myself and taking every opportunity to showcase my work, I’ve built a presence that opens doors and creates opportunities.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I have is do not leave your 9-to-5 until your business income suppresses what you make at your 9-to-5. Because of the simple fact, like, starting out with a business, it does take a good bit of money in between printers, papers, getting your certifications. Like, you gotta have an already kind of built foundation to better your other foundation.
