Her Story
About Tera
Tera Myers brings over two decades of experience in the technology sector, having entered the field through an early interest in graphic design and web development that began in eighth grade and continued through high school and college. Her professional path started as a web developer, and she has since taken on roles involving documentation, requirements, user experience, and testing, most recently serving as a Technical Business Analyst or Product Owner in the highly regulated medical manufacturing space within healthcare. Alongside her tech career, Myers has pursued passions in health and wellness as a strength and conditioning coach and volleyball player for 20 years, leading her to publish the book The Ugly Truth Perimenopause last year and develop a fitness-based app focused on exercise, diet, and supplements for women in perimenopause or menopause. She was the first woman hired at her initial company in 2006 and remains an ambassador for various fitness, supplement, and gear companies while planning to donate her body to science for women's health research.
