What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the early lessons my dad taught me about working on cars, which sparked a lifelong passion for the automotive industry. Being the first woman in my program at California State University was both a challenge and a point of pride, and I’ve worked hard to exceed expectations in a demanding and competitive field. I’m especially proud of my work at Hyundai, where I helped elevate the brand to #1 despite its challenges, demonstrating that dedication, skill, and perseverance can make a real impact.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can achieve anything, regardless of your gender. It’s a reminder to stay confident, take on challenges boldly, and focus on what I can contribute rather than any perceived limitations.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the automotive industry is simple: You can, and you will! Dream big, believe in yourself, and work hard to achieve your goals—your passion and determination will carry you far.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is staying fully devoted to every person and team I support while keeping operations running smoothly at Mercedes-Benz. Balancing individual attention with organizational priorities requires focus, adaptability, and strong collaboration, but it’s also incredibly rewarding to see the impact on both people and performance.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are dedication, balance, and giving back. At work, I give 110% to every project and team I support, and outside of work, I prioritize enjoying life in the beautiful Sunshine State—whether that’s fishing, cooking with my husband, or volunteering at the Women’s Shelter in Jacksonville. Finding joy and fulfillment both professionally and personally is what keeps me motivated and grounded.
