Her Interview
Ten minutes with Teresa
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my wonderful mother and father who gave us a solid home environment. We ate at the table together and talked, which built a strong foundation. God is good and I've been able to live a well-rounded life.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received was from Richard Branson at a global sales conference. He advised to always keep people smarter than you around you, as he surrounds himself with young IT techs who make his vision happen.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell them to hold their head up, don't rush or make rough decisions based on one piece of information. Slow down, listen well, keep a positive mindset, put the work in, and achieve your goals.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunities are branching into team coaching in schools and corporate settings, and helping the younger generation transition into the world. The challenge is a saturated market, making my business stand out with the right marketing message.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Family is first for me. Integrity is big, making sure we are who we say we are. Compassion towards others, always serving a certain mindset, reaching out to those less fortunate, and being light in this world.
