Teresa Hollech is a seasoned pet industry professional with more than three decades of experience dedicated to animal care, grooming, education, and safety. Her career began at a pet retail company, where her love for animals inspired her to learn pet grooming—a skill that helped support her through college while earning a degree in Kinesiology Secondary Education. What started as a practical way to finance her education quickly evolved into a lifelong passion and career devoted to improving the lives of pets and the professionals who care for them.

Over the course of her 34-year career, Teresa has become a respected leader in pet grooming and professional development. She spent many years mastering her craft while mentoring and training aspiring groomers, helping them build technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and confidence in their careers. Her commitment to education and continuous improvement has enabled her to influence countless professionals across the industry, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassionate pet care.

In recent years, Teresa transitioned into a corporate role focused on pet safety, where she works to enhance grooming and boarding practices that protect the health and well-being of animals. She holds certifications in CPR, first aid, mental health first aid, and WZ investigation training, reflecting her dedication to safety and professional standards. 01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Broaden the parameters because the dream you achieve might look different from the one you first imagined. Give yourself grace, stay aware, trust your instincts, and keep growing without becoming complacent.
