Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience as a single mother, a deep-rooted belief in personal growth, consistent self-discipline, and the courage to pursue both corporate and entrepreneurial goals simultaneously. My faith, education, and commitment to helping others heal emotionally have also played a central role in shaping my journey.

Currently, I work in diabetes pharmaceutical education, delivering presentations, clinical trainings, and patient-support programs in healthcare settings. In addition, I partner with Unidos Institute, where I teach workshops on emotional intelligence, confidence, and self-love. In my coaching practice, I run group sessions, speak at events, and continue to expand my program offerings to reach more women.

Over the past 15 years, I have built a career in pharmaceutical sales and education. I began in the medical field as a single mother pursuing my degree and eventually transitioned into pharma, educating hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers on diabetes management. Alongside my medical career, I developed a second pathway as a life coach, master trainer, and neuroscience coach, driven by my passion for transforming women’s lives. I specialize in pharmaceutical sales, diabetes education, and women’s personal development coaching, blending medical expertise, patient education, emotional intelligence training, and neuroscience-based coaching.

Some highlights of my journey include receiving the Circle of Excellence Award in 2015 for my pharmaceutical work and, in coaching, successfully hosting a workshop that attracted 68 women—well beyond the anticipated 25 participants—demonstrating the strong community impact and demand for my message.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my mentors, Liliana Guerra and Lily Sanchez. Their guidance has been instrumental in shaping my personal and professional growth, helping me strengthen my leadership skills, refine my coaching approach, and navigate career transitions with clarity and confidence.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering sales, consulting, or coaching to be confident from the start, trust their instincts, and seize opportunities—even when they feel underprepared. It’s important to claim your seat at the table, speak up, and not wait for permission to step into leadership roles.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges I see in my field include the complexity of pharmaceutical education, the emotional demands of supporting patients with chronic illnesses, and the challenge of balancing two careers. In coaching, funding and visibility can be barriers, but the opportunities are tremendous—helping women heal, promoting mental renewal, and expanding emotional intelligence programs nationwide.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are empathy, service, empowerment, emotional intelligence, and integrity. I believe in elevating others through education, honoring people’s experiences, and showing up authentically in everything I do. Outside of work, I’m devoted to my family, enjoy Korean skincare, listen to transformative podcasts by Louise Hay and Joe Dispenza, and stay current with clinical trial publications. I’m passionate about personal wellness, mind-body transformation, and lifelong learning—all of which shape my approach to coaching and healthcare education.
