Teresa Mazzarella

She is an accomplished pharmaceutical sales leader with over two decades of experience across Vertex Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie, Exact Sciences, Alkermes, and Eli Lilly and Company. Currently serving as Associate Director of Sales for the Northeast Area in the Pain Business Unit at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, she previously served as Senior Regional Leader at AbbVie and as Regional GI/Oncology Specialty Director for the Northeast at Exact Sciences, where she was responsible for launching and building out the GI Division, leading a team of seven GI Specialty Representatives while integrating strategic account managers, area managers, and 42 primary care representatives, recruiting top talent, leading national launch business planning, and coaching numerous promotions. She finished as the top GAM earner in Q3 2020, a top three overall performer in 2020, and second in overall performance in 2021 while covering 11 states. Her earlier career includes serving as District Business Leader at Alkermes, where she helped recruit and hire the Long Acting Injectable sales force in the Neuroscience Division, was selected as one of four national DBLs for the Aristada marketing advisory team prior to launch, facilitated major formulary wins at top hospitals, and coached a representative to an internal sales manager role, and over fourteen years at Eli Lilly and Company, where she advanced from Senior Sales Representative to Sales Trainer and Senior District Sales Manager, earning numerous awards including the Coaching Champ Award, achieving District Quota Trips seven times, and averaging top 27% nationally. Her career reflects a deep commitment to leadership development, strategic market penetration, and delivering exceptional results in highly competitive pharmaceutical markets.
