What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Build a career around who you are becoming, not just what you can do.
Skills open doors, but identity sustains momentum. Choose work that aligns with values, protects well-being, and allows growth without self-abandonment. Say yes to opportunities that expand capacity and integrity. Say no to paths that require shrinking, rushing, or betraying inner clarity.
Careers that last are built deliberately, with patience, boundaries, and a long view.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Choose alignment before approval.
Build depth before visibility. Learn the foundations, refine your thinking, and develop discernment early. Let credibility come from consistency, not urgency.
Protect well-being as a non-negotiable. Burnout is not a badge of honor, and overgiving is not leadership. Boundaries are a professional skill.
Own the voice without apology. Insight, presence, and lived wisdom matter. Speak clearly, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Invest in mentorship and community, but trust inner guidance. Learn from others without outsourcing authority.
Finally, play the long game. Influence is built through integrity, patience, and purpose—not shortcuts.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The field of holistic well-being and leadership faces challenges like oversaturated trends, burnout culture, fragmented approaches, and skepticism of expertise. At the same time, opportunities lie in integrated leadership, long-term transformational growth, scalable digital platforms, collaborative partnerships, and authentic storytelling. Lasting impact comes from translating holistic vision into practical action, combining insight with lived experience, and building communities grounded in growth and integrity.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values are authenticity, integrity, and purpose-driven impact. Work and life are guided by alignment with core principles rather than external approval.
Other central values include:
- Resilience and growth – embracing challenges as opportunities for learning and transformation.
- Compassion and empathy – leading and relating with care while maintaining healthy boundaries.
- Contribution and service – prioritizing work that creates meaningful change for individuals and communities.
- Curiosity and lifelong learning – integrating knowledge, reflection, and creative insight continuously.
- Balance and well-being – honoring mental, emotional, and physical health as non-negotiable foundations.
These values ensure every decision and action reinforces purpose, influence, and sustainable impact.
