About Thalia
Thalia Peeler serves as a group home manager in the human service field, where she has worked for nearly 50 years. She began her career as a certified nurse's aide before becoming an emergency room technician and later managing group homes. Peeler spent 21 years with the state of Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services before returning to her current role overseeing group homes for individuals with intellectual challenges and mental health needs. She holds a double master's degree in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration from American Intercontinental University and is working toward her doctorate at a sister school. In addition to her managerial duties, which include staff oversight, client care coordination, and crisis response, Peeler acts as a union delegate and advocates for proper care standards within her facility.
