Thanusha Neelapareddy

Thanusha Neelapareddy is a licensed clinical psychologist based in Austin, Texas. She owns Cultural Compass Psychological Services, where she focuses on supporting high-achieving individuals navigating stress, perfectionism, people-pleasing, life transitions, cultural identity, and related challenges through a multicultural and trauma-informed lens. In addition, she provides consultation-liaison psychological services at hospitals through Behavioral Health Consultants, assisting patients with chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and adjustment issues. Neelapareddy earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University in Maryland. She completed her internship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami and her postdoctoral training at Dell Children's in Austin. Her decision to establish her own practice stems from a desire to address gaps in culturally aligned care, particularly for South Asian clients, drawing from her own experiences with mental health stigma.
