Her Interview

Ten minutes with Theresa

01What do you attribute your success to?

Finding people who loved me and a higher power who helps me through the hard parts of life and business.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Advice from accountant Marvin Rubin on how to run a business, manage clients, and handle exhaustion, since no one was teaching dietitians how to run a business at the time.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Listen to the point, listen to the glass. They just have to stop holding on to the rules that everyone has and look at themselves and their bodies and what they need to do for themselves. Look at whether those themes work for you.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty and integrity are key. Also helping people look at their own lives, spirituality, who they choose to become, and addressing how food interferes with creating the life they want.
