What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a commitment to transparency and clear communication. I prioritize openness with both candidates and clients, asking the tough but necessary questions to ensure alignment and understanding. Equally important, I embrace giving and receiving feedback in a kind, constructive manner, fostering growth and collaboration at every opportunity.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to actively seek feedback and never hesitate to ask questions. Being open to constructive feedback helps me grow, while asking thoughtful questions allows me to learn and gain deeper insights. I’ve also learned that details matter — I make it a point not to assume requirements, but to clarify must-haves versus nice-to-haves with each client.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to find your motivation and trust your instincts when connecting with candidates and hiring managers. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, raise your hand, and remain open to feedback — these actions are key to building strong pipelines, developing roles effectively, and cultivating lasting professional relationships.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is navigating a job market where many individuals are not actively seeking new opportunities, while others have experienced layoffs. At the same time, this presents a tremendous opportunity to connect with and support talented candidates through thoughtful, detailed assessment and proactive outreach.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are respect and honesty, always balanced with kindness. I prioritize teamwork, maintain transparency, and am never afraid to admit when I don’t know something, because doing so creates opportunities to learn and grow.
