About Tia
Tia Christian is a professional with more than 25 years of experience in information systems and IT. A graduate of State Technical Institute, she earned two associate's degrees in computer science in 1996 and 1998 and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated completion in 2028. Christian specializes in healthcare information systems but is not limited to that sector. Her typical workday involves checking her calendar, participating in Scrum meetings with her team, meeting with stakeholders such as VPs and CEOs to discuss project progress and updates, and working on tasks such as writing scripts and updating functionality. She enjoys the mix of technical work and human interactions with end users and customers, as well as business trips. Christian has been a member of the North Orange County Computer Club, Toastmasters, Rotary Club, and Chamber of Commerce, and has served on other boards. She has experience with keynote speaking and is open to presenting when invited.
