01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Early in my career I worked for one of the leading brokers in real estate sales and she was a woman. Just seeing a woman in a leadership position in a sales role and very successful in a male-dominated industry taught me how to navigate complex and hard conversations and gave me the tools to build my own business and make my own money.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Go for it. Put yourself out there, ask a lot of questions, and be open to opportunities. Don't wait for someone to hand it to you. Have that eagerness to continue to learn.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Having the right boundaries and work-life balance. When I come home after work, I put my phone on silent at 6 o'clock and that's my time with my family. You can do anything but you can't do everything, so define where you want to put your energy and effort.
