Tia LaFavor

Tia LaFavor is a strategic nonprofit leader with over a decade of experience spanning organizational leadership, operations, policy, communications, and community impact. After beginning her career in the corporate world and serving on a board of directors in her 20s, she transitioned into nonprofit work as a director of operations. In her current role, she manages diverse responsibilities including board reports, programming, employee management, contractor oversight, client services, grant applications, and technology systems such as Salesforce. Tia holds a Bachelor's of Science in Equestrian Business Management, an MBA earned right after undergrad, and a second master's in interdisciplinary studies covering public administration, natural resource management, conservation biology, and environmental sustainability. She is also CAPS certified as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist. Her professional path is rooted in a lifelong commitment to helping others, shaped by her upbringing.
