Tia Robinson

Tia Robinson owns and operates Mindful Pest and Property Solutions, a pest control and wildlife solutions company based in Loris, South Carolina. Having been raised in the industry, with her father starting the original company 45 years ago, she has run the business for 20 years and owned it for 16 years. With a master's degree in environmental science and conservation, she shifted the company from traditional chemical-heavy methods to a green approach focused on identifying root causes and providing permanent, least-harmful solutions. The company has grown to a team of five and earned recognitions including Best of South Carolina, second place in Best of the Beach, and an impact award from the National Pest Management Association. Beyond her business, Robinson is launching Rooted in Community, a faith-based community center offering affordable flex space and resources to the local area. Her path includes overcoming challenges as a young woman in a male-dominated field, supported by her education at community college and the Academy of Art, Science, and Technology, as well as a pivotal high school teacher who encouraged her involvement in FFA.
