About Tiana
Tiana Heath, CAPS, is a respected Rental Housing Thought Leader, DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Champion, and Learning & Development Professional with over 17 years of experience in the multifamily housing industry. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Industry Relations at the National Apartment Association (NAAHQ), Tiana plays a pivotal role in shaping national initiatives that support education, professional growth, and operational excellence across the rental housing sector. Her work focuses on developing impactful training programs, fostering inclusive leadership, and creating strategic industry content through NAAEI, where she also serves as the staff liaison for the Operations Committee.
Before joining NAAHQ, Tiana held multiple leadership positions with national real estate development and construction companies, where she excelled in areas such as pre-leasing, rebranding, and value-add projects for luxury and urban communities. Her expertise as a Regional Manager and Training & Development leader has helped shape high-performing teams and transform community operations nationwide. She is a certified NALP, CAPS, Lyceum, and LEAD recipient through the National Apartment Association and the Apartment Association of Kansas City, where she also served as a board member and Chair of the DEI Committee.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tiana is a passionate advocate for diversity, education, and economic empowerment. Actively involved in civic engagement and volunteerism, she supports causes that promote equitable access to opportunity and personal growth. A lifelong learner, she continues her academic journey at Ashworth College, with plans to expand her expertise into educational design. Tiana’s leadership and advocacy reflect her deep commitment to empowering others—especially women and underrepresented groups—to thrive within the multifamily industry and beyond.
