What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my family and my commitment to perseverance. Their encouragement has given me the confidence to tackle challenges head-on, while my persistence has allowed me to navigate complex projects and grow continuously in my career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received comes from my mom: “People always have time, money, and energy for what they truly want.” This has reminded me to prioritize my goals, focus on what matters most, and invest my energy wisely in the opportunities and relationships that align with my values and aspirations.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering IT and related fields is simple: don’t let anything deter you. These industries may be perceived as male-dominated, but that should never define your potential. Stand your ground, pursue your goals with confidence, and don’t let others dictate your path. Your skills, determination, and vision are what matter most.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is finding a seat at the table. IT and project management are evolving rapidly, and it’s essential to ensure diverse voices are included in key decisions. Securing that seat allows you to influence outcomes, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to organizational success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me both in my work and personal life are humility and self-belief. I strive to stay humble, recognizing that there’s always more to learn, while also believing in my abilities to overcome challenges and achieve my goals.
