Tiayana Logan, M.Sp.Ed.

Tiayana Logan, M.Sp.Ed. is the Founder and Director of Legacy Rise Academy, bringing over 20 years of experience in early childhood education to her leadership. A passionate advocate for equity and excellence, Tiayana is dedicated to creating safe, nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Legacy Rise Academy, set to open in 2026, will serve children ages 3 months to 12 years, offering both early learning and after-school programs designed to support working families and foster holistic child development. Through this initiative, Tiayana is building more than a school; she’s creating a haven where education and community meet to empower future generations.

Her expertise spans school founding, business development, and community engagement, with an emphasis on advancing access to quality education within the nonprofit and charter school sectors. Each day, Tiayana leads with vision and purpose, meeting with grant writers, forming partnerships, touring childcare centers, and cultivating vendor relationships to expand resources for families in need. Prior to founding Legacy Rise Academy, she served in leadership roles at DeKalb Brilliance Academy and Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School, where she helped develop operational frameworks, manage data-driven initiatives, and strengthen inclusive education systems. Her dynamic approach to leadership continues to blend strategic insight with an unwavering commitment to service.

Tiayana holds a Master’s in Special Education, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice. She has received three citations from the Mayor of New York City for her leadership and dedication to empowering women, along with multiple awards recognizing her impact in education and community advancement. Beyond her professional achievements, Tiayana is a proud mother and active community member who enjoys yoga, Pilates, basketball, gymnastics, swimming with her son, and church involvement. She continues to lead with heart and purpose, empowering others to rise, give back, and build legacies of their own.
