Over the past two years as Center Manager, she has expertly overseen clinic operations, managed schedules, directed hourly staff, implemented company policies, coordinated workflow, and collaborated closely with providers to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care. Tierra is recognized for her ability to optimize operational efficiency while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages professional growth among her team members.
A proud Purdue Global alumna and member of the SALUTE Honor Society, Tierra earned her Master of Health Administration and is currently completing her Doctorate in Health Science (DHSc), with graduation anticipated soon. Her leadership achievements include growing her team and mentoring colleagues into new roles, reflecting her dedication to both operational excellence and the professional development of those around her. Tierra combines her expertise in healthcare administration with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that every process and workflow contributes to superior outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support and encouragement of my family. Their belief in me has been my foundation, motivating me to persevere through challenges and pursue my goals with determination. They have instilled in me the values of hard work, integrity, and resilience, which continue to guide me both personally and professionally.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that no dream is impossible. Believe in yourself, give your best in everything you do, and stay committed even when challenges arise. Every obstacle is an opportunity to grow stronger and wiser keep pushing forward, stay focused on your goals, and never lose sight of your passion and purpose.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the field right now is patient engagement. Encouraging patients to take an active role in their care can be difficult, especially when balancing diverse needs, communication barriers, and varying levels of health literacy. However, this challenge also presents a powerful opportunity—to build stronger relationships, use innovative tools and technology to enhance communication, and create a more collaborative approach that ultimately leads to better outcomes for both patients and providers.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity and resilience are the values that guide me both professionally and personally. I believe in doing what is right, even when it’s not easy, and staying true to my principles in every decision I make. Resilience allows me to persevere through challenges, adapt to change, and continue striving toward my goals with a positive mindset and unwavering determination.
