About Tiesha
Tiesha Schenck serves as Business Office Manager and Human Resources at a home health agency, where her main focus remains patient care through smooth billing processes, aging report management, and coordination with sales reps and medical record specialists to avoid care interruptions. With over 27 years in the field, she started as a CNA in her 20s, gained hands-on patient experience, handled administrative and business tasks in doctors' offices, served as resident director in assisted living, and now manages business aspects of home health care. Schenck pursued education at CNA school, followed by college studies in business, health business, and management, and later billing and coding. She has received Higher Achievement Awards and contributes to Leading Ladies of Society by donating to the Bedded Women's Shelter, hosting pop-up shops for small business women, and organizing women conferences. Schenck attributes her success to her mindset of perseverance for her children and grandchildren, inspired by her parents' hard work and her determination not to fail her family after an early marriage and late return to college.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My mindset to keep going for my children and grandchildren. My mom and dad worked very hard. I had children young, went back to college late after my marriage failed because I did not want to fail my children.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Biggest challenge is learning how to put work down once I leave and come home, carrying unbalancedness from workplace. Opportunity is ability to scale and climb the ladder inside the company.
