Her Interview
Ten minutes with Tiffaney
01What do you attribute your success to?
My family and support system, including my son and my husband. They have been there for me throughout my career changes and education.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always have a backup plan. This was important because I transitioned from being self-employed as a hairstylist to nursing for more stability.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never give up. You can do anything once you put your mind to it. In this field, you're always learning new things, and don't be afraid to just do it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Changes in the healthcare system with a new administration, and compensation not keeping up with rising expenses and life costs. It was great at the height of COVID but now scaling back.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Never give up. You can do anything once you put your mind to it. Keep reaching for those goals because you will accomplish them.
